I don't know if you ever feel this way, but often times I feel overwhelmed by what I call my "creative demons". Engrossed in believing that I am summation of my creative works. Sometimes I let this false belief drive me to keep making things, because if I can just keep creating new and different things I don't have to think about what I just finished, I don't have to learn, and I don't have to change. This is dangerous. Sometimes it works to my advantage, moving me forward, pushing the limit of what I think I can do. This can be helpful.
As a creative individual I want to remind you—you are worth more than the work that you create. You are an intricate person and the things you make are a small sliver of what makes you whole.
Do not forget this, you are worth more than the work that you create.
