I'm learning what it means to ask for attention. For someone to donate their time to listen to my voice, read my words, or view my work. It's not a small inquiry, we all have twenty four hours in a day. Every minute you ask someone of their time, you take away moments from their schedule—whether it be outside a grocery store, a knock on their door, or an email.
Time is to be respected and attention is to be granted not taken.
If you have thoughts or questions regarding the value of attention, email me firstname.lastname@example.org—I'd love to chat!
